When I was just getting into my Pinterest account, and bored to tears at my father’s house, I was cooking up a snack daily. For some reason, I was convinced I loved Spinach. I mean, it is delicious on pizza!! You know what it’s not great in? Spinach crescent rolls. I will give them that they are fun to make!
They were pretty easy to make! I changed up the original recipe at clairebidwellsmith for something a little more bland & cheesy, just my style!
- 16 crescent rolls
- 4 oz feta
- 4 oz mozzarella
- 3 oz spinach
- 1 egg white
- salt + pepper
- parmesan to taste
- Mix ingredients (except rolls & egg)!
- Stuff into crescents.
- Brush on egg white.
- Sprinkle with parmesan.
- Bake according to roll directions.
I threw 12 of the 16 out. :( The cheese was super good, but the spinach was a little bitter for me.
