I do my nails pretty often, and every time I go to take off a color, I think never again. No more glitter. Yet, the next time I go to the store and buy a color, there’s inevitably some little glitter pot calling my name. There’s no stopping there, either. Before I start painting my nails, I think about what a bad idea it is, and how awful it is to try and get glitter nail polish to come off – and then I do it any way. So here’s to loving glitter nails more than your sanity!
Admittedly, these glitters aren’t as bad. They gold does stick to your nails heavily, but it doesn’t have the rough texture of large pieces of glitter. The pink actually was really easy to use, and had a solid glitter base while appearing really glossy! (It was on sale for like two bucks, besides!)
You can cut thin strips of tape to use for the design, but I went ahead and bought nail tape. I got this cheap 30 piece set, and this stuff goes on foreverrrrr, so I’ll almost certainly never need to buy this again, unless I want new colors. I use the colors I don’t like for taping designs and the colors I enjoy for actually leaving on my nails. Win-win!
