I’m of the opinion that I can never be organized enough. My thoughts are all over the place and I’m pretty forgetful to begin with. So when my current calendar wasn’t cutting it, it became time to DIY-it.

First thing I did was clean my glass. Then, using the glass as a guide, I cut my poster paper down to size: 11″ by 14″. This was the perfect size to create 2″ x 2″ boxes (with a 1″ high day of the week link), so no crazy measurements.
Originally I went with the black frame and black paper, but once I realized my neon markers were crap AND my room is decidedly bright, I back-tracked and switched out for some white paper and better quality markers. I already had some spray paint laying around, and this took just a few minutes to complete!
