Kristofer and I are keeping up with his advent calendar – so far we’ve made christmas crafts (wine bottles with lights), decorated our tree (it’s tiny), watched a movie together (he chose a horror movie…), and gone to see Christmas lights (which actually was a little bit of a lie – there were hardly any lights)! Yesterday, we made Santa hat Christmas cookies, using the same technique behind those popular teal panda cookies – only without an easy pattern to follow.
With a lot of patience, we were able to make a design that was pretty recognizable.
If you looked at it while we were making it though, it would have just looked silly and messed up.
Still, some of the hats look a little silly. Since we left some of these for my little brother and sister, we picked out the ones that were most distinguishable and told my mother to tell them all the cookies turned out that well! ;)
Baked to deliciousness.
