Even though I can take a simple bow nail design, and mess it up, at least I do it well, right? A wonderful gift wrap bow design has resulted, and I think it’s incredibly festive!
While attempting this adorable pin, from this informative site, I made some (a lot of) errors. Surprise! (Well, we did see this coming, didn’t we? After my last bunch of mistakes?) I definitely should have paid closer attention (or any at all) to the directions.
Luckily, I found myself rather liking my nail art. And, after all, we learn best by doing, right? I think I’ll “mess up” this design again, probably around my birthday time! Though really anyone’s birthday would be a cute time to wear these. Maybe even a baby shower – we’ve got the right color scheme going on!
Below is a disgustingly blown up image of one of my nails. ;)
The differences between my nails, and the bows I was attempting, are
- the fact the my bows should be inside the white, not on top of the white
- my white goes straight down the nail, instead of angling (artfully, of course)
- my bows are nice and sloppy!
I’ve already painted my nails since this — and they could definitely be improved!
