Tasks Completed:
- Helped plan and lead our leadership retreat upon accepting presidency
- Re-instated Vice President of Marketing Position and worked with selected candidate to build a strong position for future years
- Participated in interviewing candidates for Programs Arts and Leisure Assistant Director
- Met with leaders within Inter-Residential Housing Association to discuss co-sponsorships and marketing through their welcome bags
- Migrated emails to an official gmail account to create a more lasting contact method throughout the years
- Posted office hours and contact information of exec and directors in communal office to increase accountability and improve communication with other organizations
- Posted a public calendar for RUB members to encourage attendance fulfillment and improve dispersal of information regarding events
- Created, accepted, and processed the following applications: membership (twice), NACA participants (twice), executive board, and directors
- Created and implemented a rewards-based point system to improve member morale
- Members with perfect attendance received a celebratory party and accumulated points could be “spent” on passes to different events
- Researched and advocated for use of MailChimp as primary listserv service, in order to improve marketing
- Moved all RUB meetings from various dates and times to a single time in order to improve inter-committee communication, overall RUB morale, and attendance
- Led weekly exec meetings, weekly director meetings, and monthly general body meetings
- Participated in Graduate Assistant phone interviews
- Planned and executed annual end of year Banquet for RUB members: “Puttin’ on the Reitz” (Great Gatsby)
- Taught and trained new president our procedures and goals
- Re-wrote RUB constitution
