It’s when I look at the photo of this nail polish that I can’t get the name “Lisa Frank” out of head.
And honestly, I just don’t mind. I mean, who doesn’t want to be looking at so many neon colors they start to go a little cross-eyed?
I picked up these two samplers, along with two others, in an Ulta kit for just $5! And besides the teeny fact that I can’t get little shimmery flakes off my nails now, I totally don’t regret it!
Two quick coats gave a solid purple with a shining rainbow concealed within. Although when I was looking at my own nais, the coral was most prominent. So to keep the color from getting boring (you know, glitter just doesn’t really pop, does it) I added some dots around the edges using a toothpick.
And I’ll give you this tip: using your dominent hand produces much prettier dots. (Who would have guessed?) My right hand looked a bit lop-sided and funky. So I didn’t exactly take any photos of that hand (surprise).
Honestly, who doesn’t want Lisa Frank reminiscent nails?? I think we all miss Lisa Frank, and could use a little more color in our lives!
